For four days in March I went off the grid and it was a bliss. There were 20 speakers giving the talks of their lives, good food, picture perfect sceneries, campfire and great conversations. And they weren’t just images/videos/articles that I saw on my news feed, I was experiencing them in real world and real time. I was at the DO Lectures Australia 2015 to film as well as participating. It was a real privilege for me to be there amongst all of the amazing people DOing great things with great impact to the world. One of the quote from the talks that resonate with me the most about change or making a difference was:

“The only thing more powerful than ownership is authorship.” — Aaron & Kaitlin Tait, Spark* International | Watch their full story here

I’m grateful for the connections that I made at DO. To those whom I shared the 7 hours journey there and back… To those whom we met along the way… To those who shared their energy with me even just a smile… To those who initiated and welcomed me in their conversations despite my limitations (I didn’t quite have the vocabulary for those great ideas that they were speaking of!)… To those who saw me beyond the lens of my camera… To those who danced with me… Thank you! 🙂

Kudos to Sam, Mel and everyone behind DO Lectures Australia 2015!

It’s not the same as experiencing DO yourself but check out the highlights of the event that I put together here:

DO Lectures is also about sharing, so you can find all of the inspiring talks here: http://www.thedolectures.com/talks/

Be inspired and DO!
